Philippine-American Chamber of
Commerce of Georgia (PACCGA)
to Facilitate Development Projects

Twenty one Georgia residents, representing diverse professions, businesses and trade, and all committed to assist Filipino-American owned and operated businesses achieve success, were inducted as officers of the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce of Georgia (PACCGA) last January 13th at the Atlanta Marriott Airport Hotel.

Adrian Teodor, the 2006 President, delivered the welcome address and led the recognition of the 2006 officers. The keynote address was delivered by the Honorable Bob Barr, former Georgia Congressman and active political and social commentator. Mr. Barr praised the achievements and contributions of PACCGA in advancing the cause of the Filipino-American community by promoting trade and understanding between the Philippines and the State of Georgia.

The main event of the evening was the presentation and induction by Honorary Consul General Ray Donato of the 2007 PACCGA officers led by its incoming President, Cris Borja.

In his incoming message, Mr. Borja reiterated the old Filipino tradition of "Bayanihan" spirit of volunteerism which has resulted in numerous achievements of PACCGA that benefited the community.

Established in 1995, PACCGA has been providing educational, social and community programs to its members and numerous businesses.

This year, under the leadership of Cris Borja, owner and chief broker of Ace Brokers, Inc., PACCGA will be embarking on facilitating development projects for its members and interested investors.

"My vision is for PACCGA to own its building which will house various Filipino-American businesses," declared Cris at the first retreat and planning session of the 2007 PACCGA board held on January 28 at the St. Marlo Country Club in Duluth, Georgia. 

Mr. Borja invited everyone to "get involve with PACCGA and exhaust all the benefits that entails with it."  (Real Estate Business Times)
